A native of Lynden in Whatcom County, Jacob DeGraaff has spent his career representing ordinary citizens, small business owners, and consumers in Washington in bankruptcy and civil cases. Jacob often works with filers in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases involving rental properties, developers, and small businesses, and is experienced in many other areas of debt and consumer law.

Jacob is a 2001 graduate of Western Washington University in Bellingham and received his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego in 2005. Prior to co-founding (now Henry & DeGraaff, he worked in general practice at Libey, Enley, Esser & Nelson in Pullman, and bankruptcy law at John Long Law in Issaquah.
